New Comics Day 4/28/10

This issue of Marvel Zombies (now in Volume 5 flavor) was a wee bit disappointing. Mostly because I'd read the Alan Davis Kilraven so recently, so here he comes off as a bit dumber and crazier than I'd last seen him. It does have Aaron being all depressed about the recent events in Slott's Avengers book with Jocasta. And Howard shooting things with a giant gun. So there's that...

Scalped finishes up its two-part Shunta story. That is a dude with some deep-down anger issues...

Jack of Fables sees young Jack Frost getting to the heart of the motivations of his witch girlfriend, the king and even the fuzzy giant everyone told him was behind everything. But at what terrible cost?

Invincible opens with the Flaxans invading. Again. Seriously what is so wonderful about Invincible's home universe that they keep coming back? Anyway, after that Mark's dad and Allen recruit Techjacket and Oliver and set off for a final showdown with the Viltrumite Empire...

Angel lets some of his anger loose on the company that held him captive as Gunn and Connor have a falling out...

And lastly a new Stumptown where Dex finally catches up with the missing girl. But of course everything can't be simple and easy...
