And also the 2nd-to-last issue of the too good for comics fans S.W.O.R.D. Where shock of shocks, Gyrich's big plan totally fucks up and its up to the people he's been working against to save the world. Again...

As a prelude to next months Lockjaw & the Pet Avengers Unleashed mini is Tails of the Pet Avengers. With TWO Colleen Coover drawn stories. One about Ms. Lion and the other about Redwing. Also a frog wailing on alligators with a magic hammer...

Unwritten follows the tragic deaths from last issue with a journey into a semi-fictional area linked to Stuttgart, Jud Suss and Goebbels...

In Daytripper, Bras deals with a really bad break-up and then meets someone new. At least before the end at 28...

Groo: The Hogs of Horder is more very, VERY thinly veiled political commentary. Though the best bits are where a group of soldiers Groo has joined attempt to not get on the same boat as him...

And finally Secret Six concludes the joint Simone/Ostrander story, with the Six and Waller & the Squad forming a temporary alliance to deal with the Black Lantern Suicide Squaders...
