New Comics Day 11/25/09
Nov. 25th, 2009 06:13 pmI am sad because my shop ran out of the new Tick relaunch. So I have to wait for the re-order. I am happy though that I flipped thru Image United#1 before buying, because it was dumb and thus I saved myself four bucks...
Not dumb though? The new Beasts of Burden. Wise "dog" Orphan goes into the sewers in search of the final fate of a friend. Where he finds creepy rats. Plus a Rat King. Rat Kings are cool. Creepy as fuck. But cool...
In Criminal: The Sinners Tracy continues to investigate the death of several of Mr. Hyde's people. Plus some big clues as to the motivations of the killers...
I'm still not liking Molina's art on Avengers: The Initiative. Its very uneven and doesn't really work to show-case how threatening both Penance and Nightmare are meant to be here...
The Guardians of the Galaxy soldier on despite the loss of half their team to the Magus. And that means trying to explore the Fault and find a way to close it...
And finally the last issue of Models Inc. Kind of wishing I'd trade-waited on this one. Mostly because of the art again. Vincenc Villagrasa is a decent enough artist, but he doesn't do action scenes very well. I so wish that Tobin's wife had done the art. Oh well...
