The Friends of Eddie Coyle

Eddie (Robert Mitchum) is a small-timer looking at doing a short stretch on a smuggling charge. And while he's a stand-up guy and won't roll on who hired him to drive a truck full of Canadian booze he really isn't looking forward to doing more jail time. Mostly because he doesn't want his kids getting teased for having a dad in jail. And he's working as a middleman buying guns for his friends who are doing a string of high-profile bank robberies. So he does have something to try and trade in on. But Eddie doesn't want to be a rat. But helping his Uncle could mean no jail time so he's torn...
