I don't tend to remember much of anything about my dreams. So I wanted to get this down before it fades away. So in the dream I'm in some movie and part of the time I'm Tobey McGuire. And at the end of the film I get crucified except its not a Jesus bio-pic and then it is. I don't know. But I do know that at the wrap party I'm trying to convince the rest of the cast and crew to do another scene for the dvd. A fake trailer really...

"So you have this big crowd gathered outside the tomb. And then AC/DC's Thunderstruck starts up. And the boulder in front of the tomb starts shaking. And just as the thunderstruck line hits the boulder explodes into dust. And there I'm standing. In some kind of kung fu stance, and I'm still bleeding from the wounds and shit. And I just say "Who's ready to rock"?"

"No, "Who's willing to walk the walk and talk the talk?""

"Oooh! Even better. And then it goes to black and the title. The Greatest Sequel Ever Told."

There was also something where I'm telling the actor who played Judas how we can bring him back as a Roman built zombie-cyborg...

So yesterday was supposed to have a new character creation post. But between waiting in line to finish up the paperwork and what not to get food stamps and then getting caught up in starting reading Andrew Vachss' Burke series I totally spaced on it. So this will be a skip week. And I'm going to use this weeks poll to get an idea what games to do next...

Zin is the girlfriend of a Thai gangster who falls for a visiting Yakuza. Under threats from her old flame Zin sends her boyfriend back to Japan and moves away. Then she has a baby who she names Zen. Zen turns out to be autistic is some form, which also allows her to copy martial arts moves she sees. Which comes in useful later when she and her family have to deal with the Thai gangster's army of goons...

I do wonder how much goons get paid in the universe of Action/Martial Arts picks. They nearly always keep coming back for more beatings. I mean you'd think some of them would think to stand back and not go after the Hero(inne) multiple times. Especially when they dismantle the whole mob plus the several Bad-Ass Members. Maybe gangs offer really good health insurance and retirement...

Anyway, the young actress who plays Zen, JeeJa Yanin, is someone to watch. A great martial artist and not a bad actor either. Reminds me of a young Jackie Chan, especially in several of the early one-vs.-group fight scenes...
