Paul Newman and Robert Redford make for a hell of a cinematic team-up. And here, as a pair of grifters running a giant scam on a mob boss, they go above and beyond. There is something about a con that allows for making crime seem..well fun. Especially when the story makes the mark look like they so richly deserve it. I think I might actually like this better than Butch & Sundance. The romantic scenes in that one always seemed to drag a little too much for me. But here you've got a two hour movie that just flows easily along...
