I catch bits of this at work, where the lounge area tv is often left on the Travel channel. And I see part of an episode with the host in Singapore's Little India neighborhood. Where he and his guide are having their fortunes told by a parrot. And my first thought is "No Andrew! Don't eat the cute parrot!"

A light week this time out. So I grabbed Mike Carey's newest Unwritten from last week. Which starts with the assumption, that what if character like Harry Potter had been based on the writer's kid. And then they vanished mysteriously after finishing the books. Sort of. And then, it being a Carey Vertigo book, things get odd...

And the Great Fables Crossover continues in Jack of Fables, where Author Kevin Thorn attempts to take Bigby out of the picture, despite being hampered by his Literal twin brother, Writer's Block...

Ex Machina continues with past and current problems Hundred had with super-villain Pherson, the Beast Master...

Next we've got Jeff Parker writing an encounter between the good Avengers and the Agents of ATLAS, that ends with the Avengers looking bad ass and Woo still seeming like one way smart player. Plus Clint Barton actually uses a bow. I don't care if goes by Ronin or Hawkeye as long as he USES A FREAKING BOW doing it...

The new Viltrumite bad guy Conquest throws down with Invincible as the rest of the world looks on, still recovering from the invasion of Invinci-clones...

And finally in Angel our titular hero tries to find out what the actual 'Angels' are really doing on Earth. While Gwen has a conversation with Ms. Jaguarwere where they actually figure out how to help each other...
