The Chill television channel is airing Millenium right now. And then a day long block of Strange World. And I caught some Freakylinks a few days back. Despite also having some pseudo-Ghost Hunters type shows, this could actually be a good network. Better enjoy it while it lasts...

Apparently when you commit suicide you go to an afterlife that is like the regular living world. Except crappier. At least that is what Zia learns after cutting his wrists. And then he learns that the girl he was in love with ended up a suicide as well so he goes looking for her. Along with his ex-rocker friend Eugene and hitchhiker Mikal (who wants to get her file reexamined by the mysterious People In Charge) he goes on a road trip across the run-down afterlife...

Surfs Up

A standard surfer movie, right down to the hero with the unorthodox and underdog background. Except with penguins. Some excellent voice acting picks though, like James Woods and Jeff Bridges...
