True Blood

Getting free HBO/Cinemax this weekend, so caught the premiere. Paquin makes a great Sookie. And the actors playing Bill, Sam and Jason are all broody hunks. Really of all the book characters only Tara seems substantially different. And not just because they made the character black. Unless I'm mixing her up with someone else, Tara in the books was the high school friend who kept getting involved with scummier vamps...

Also the show seems a bit..cruder..than the books. Still, if I had HBO I'd probably watch it regularly. Anyone know what OnDemand charges an episode?
