Picked up the 'rents from the airport around quarter to 11. They got in early after having to reroute to a different flight that made them later than originally planned. Then headed back down to sleep in my own bed. And of course find porn on my own computer...

And the delayed comics arrive. A lot of them. Man, I am bad at budgeting...

And we start with a new Savage Dragon. Dragon needs a Science Doohickey to get to Dimension X. Dr. Flem in Snap City has one. Unfortunately Brani-Ape steals it first. And the uses it at an Amazing Joy Buzzards concert to drain the concert goers life energies. Which lets him beat on Dragon, Madman AND the Joy Buzzard's pet super, El Campeon. Then the psycho Solar Man shows up and kills Hitler (because thats whose brain runs the robot ape body of Brani-Ape) causing Dragon to lose the McGuffin. Stupid jerk Solar Man. Sadly I didn't get the Savage Dragon endorses Obama cover, since its one of those limited variant things...

Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane continues its relaunch. MJ spends the day trying to find out what trash Harry is spreading about her, but everyone gets distracted anytime they try to tell her. But then Spidey walks her home from work, so thats nice...

And this is the first Knights of the Dinner Table with the new movie column. Kind of bland really. And thats even discounting me being friends with Spoony. But the strips, with guys adventuring in Bag World and the Hard8 staff are good as always...

Over on Angel: After the Fall, Gunn continues to handle being a vampire pretty badly. And Wesley gets a memo from Wolfram & Heart that sheds some more light on the whole L.A. in Hell thing...

On the the other Whedon book, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy and Fray do not work well together. Oh and Willow summons an Oracle using the power of intense lesbian smexing. Thats a plan I think more people should try...

Decided to pick up the new Secret Six book. For the interactions between Deadshot and Cat-Man if nothing else. Though I do wonder why Bane only speaks in short cut-off sentences. Was he like that before? I vaguely remember him being more chatty. But maybe that was cartoon Bane or something...

Fables wraps up its Great War story arc, with a climatic final battle between the armies of the Adversary and Fabletown West & East. Somewhat sadly I believe this will also be the final cover James Jean does...

The new Manhunter is kind of overflowing with stuff. An info dump on Kate's family history, the Suicide Squad vs. Kate, gay super-hero make outs. Really lots of stuff...

And we finish with Army@Love: The Art of War. The second volume continues its normal weird pace, and even manages to touch base fairly well with nearly every major character. Pretty impressive really given the cast size Veitch is juggling here...
