Back from seeing Iron Man with my mom. Which is a testament to how good a movie it is all on its own. That my mom would want to see it twice. She rarely will watch a movie she's already seen on television even...

Anyway it was great. Downey Jr was fantastic. The various nerd in-jokes were good. Ok, maybe not the Stan Lee one. But honestly its gone from being an amusing cameo to just something to be expected with that...

The Samuel Jackson bit post credits was another nice in-joke. Though hopefully not one that signifies them planning to do "Ultimates" characters for future movies. Because of how everyone in that universe is such a total tool...

Also liked how Favreau cast himself as the character who will end up married to Paltrow's character...
