Brian Michael Bendis talking about the brutal beating he had Tigra undergo in the most recent New Avengers. Thanks Bendis, you insufferable ass. I actually had some mild doubts about dropping everything you might ever write. I mean I used to like Powers quite a lot. And I thought Goldfish was a brilliant bit of crime noir. But this story is shit. Your writing on the OTHER Avengers book? Shit. Even Powers hasn't been up to its old standards...
And Bendis also explains that he's not misogynistic AT ALL. Because he SAYS he's not. I mean its not like he's ever killed off a female character just to add to the angst of the male character. Ok maybe the Sentry over on MA, when Girltron killed his wife. And ok, maybe Diamond/Walker lost a love interest. Or two. Or three. Or in fact FOUR. But theres nothing in ANY of your writing that could be seen as anti-female...
