Big Night

Secondo (Stanley Tucci) and Primo (Tony Shaloub) are brothers running a failing Italian resteraunt. Despite Primo's genius in the kitchen the bank is close to foreclosing and they pin everything on one giant multicourse meal for a celebrity musician. The movie starts slow and doesn't really pick up until the night of the meal. The film also showcases (like any good movie centered around cooking) the difference between decent food and a meal elevated to art. And I'd really love to try out the Timpani Pasta dish featured as the main course. It looked purely divine...

Also Minnie Driver and Allison Janney are really tall. And smoking hot in formal wear...
