After a brief delay for the holiday, comics have arrived. A good half-dozen titles, pretty much all Marvel and Dark Horse. First my Marvel we've got the current New Warriors. And Medina's art still bugs me somewhat. I've seen worse, but some of it is just sloppy. Also they keep dropping hints as to who is behind the mask as Night Thrasher, but I'm not catching them. Unless its supposed to be Bill Foster's kid brother, post WWH?

Then we head into space for Annihilation: Conquest: Wraith. Where the title character frees himself from the Phalanx, busting out Super-Skrull and Praxagora to help him. I don't care what the back story is saying. In my heart its all lies and misdirections and he will be revealed as Galador's Shining Son and not some Kree revenant...

Then we finish up with Marvel with Super-Villian Team-Up Modok's 11. Double-crosses! Triple crosses! The Infinicide's secret masters revealed! A new player enters the game for the Hypernova! Total Awesomeness has been achieved!

Then over with Dark Horse we've got Brian K. Vaughan starts his story arc on Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8. And we have Giles attempting to teach Faith all about being a Lady, so she can sneak into posh society and wetwork a rogue Slayer. Who may cause the end of the world. So nothing new then...

And then from the twisted genius brain of Mike Mignola we have a Lobster Johnson mini-series. Nazis! Evil gorilla monsters! Pulp era power armor!

And then we finish up with ps238 where aliens have invaded! And while they have scattered attacks around the globe keeping everyone busy, their main stealth landing is right outside the school. And so the staff and students rally to fight off the wicked aliens who are after Tyler. This comic has Revenant teaming with Cecil Holmes and Prospero to infilitrate the main alien lander. A giant war mech made of scrap cars. The "normal" super kids teaming with the Rainmaker kids. And Zodon and Von Fogg working together. Thats how you know things are really FUBAR...
