DC Editorial = EPIC FAIL

DC Comics has been doing a mini-series/crossover called Amazons Attack. Where the Amazons go around attacking the US and killing...well as many people as they can. And its been a cluster fuck of stupid. Magic, killer bees. The President throwing every woman ever HELPED by Wonder Woman into concentration camps. Batman smiting Circe with his leet sorcery skills. Pretty, pretty art. Crappy, crappy writing.

And this is how it all ends.

Seriously? Do you hate my money that much DC? I understand everything is probably headed for ANOTHER reboot with next years Final Crisis. But that? That was stupid. It was utter nonesense. I feel really sorry for Gail Simone, taking over what should be her dream project writing Wonder Woman and yet having to try and win back fans after THAT giant mess...

New Comics Day

And a small pull for this week, even delaying it a day. We'll start with a new Brit series, with Kirkman handing over the writing chores to Bruce Brown aka Kimo Temperance. Brown keeps to the same high speed action as the previous books. With Brit fighting dinosaurs and evil Japanese midget cultists...

Then we've got the Ex Machina Masquerade Special. With one of the first "cases" of the Great Machine and then Vaughn giving a sock puppet speech on people who wear masks. So I guess Mayor Hundred is J. Jonah Jameson now. Later he can outlaw Spider-Man I guess. But despite that, its a pretty good issue. I just don't see why it couldn't have been a regular issue...

And we finish with Knights of the Dinner Table. Outside the game you have Bob visiting the new mall game store and things don't look good for Pete. In game the gang finally reach the dungeon entrance only to find some earlier arrivals. Also, if B.A. pulled that kind of crap with the familiar of any my mages words would be exchanged. Even if the players seem to have brought it on themselves by being excessively clueless...
