I had been planning on catching the remaining burn-off episodes of The Knights of Prosperity and The Nine, but I guess not:

And I don't just mean the story (which doesn't look to be all puppies and rainbows). But the art by CP Smith and Jonny Rench. Lots of heavy shadows and washed out colors. Like a perpetual twilight...

And from Milligan we move over to Veitch's Army@Love. With the Switzer's hooking up again in Afbaghastan. Flabbergast still being in love despite knowing about the hoo-doo that got tossed on him. And Allie getting airdropped in Mongolia...

Ok then, lets move on to some normal super-hero stuff with Van Lente's Super-Villain Team-Up Modok's 11. *blink blink* Ok, so normal isn't the right word. Awesome is the word. Bitch-rod awesome in fact...

Aha! Annihilation: Conquest Quasar. Even in space this will be some nice, standard...super...hero...fare. Ok, so not really. But then who wants standard when you can have space lesbian heroes fighting the Super-Adaptoid...
