New Comics Day
Jun. 13th, 2007 05:01 pmAnd another Wednesday brings another shipment of comics. Woo! Comics!
We'll start with the newest Fables, where Mayor Charming pushes Hansel and the Emperor's embassy into acting prematurely. And Flycatcher performs a vigil to take on the mantle of the Forsaken Knight...
Then we go over to Nova where Rich beats the hell out of some Thunderbolts, has a talk with Stark and Robbie and then decides Earth is too fucked up to be worth hanging out on...
Next is DMZ, where we hit the middle of the "Friendly Fire" arc. With Matty interviewing New Yorkers about the Day 204 massacre. And trying to find some kind of deeper meaning behind it all...
Then its a new Knights of the Dinner Table. Pete keeps playing his HackMaster MMORPG, the UT+1 once again react to OOC knowledge and the usual collection of articles and back-up strips. Including
spoonyone's "review" of Eragon...
And we finish up with the much delayed finale for SuperPatriot: War on Terror. I'm just glad its finally out. Its not bad, good solid story. Its just sooooo damned late. Which is why I was happy with the "letters" page. Where Kirkman basically takes the blame for the insanely delayed comic, apologizes for blowing it and promises not to do it again. I'd love to see other comic's writers and/or artists step up like that on their own delayed books...
