So while killing time, waiting for my shift to end, I decide to scan thru some of the older links on When Fangirls Attack. And I start reading several of the posts by [livejournal.com profile] crazy_elf_girl, especially her one on artists Micheal Turner and Adam Hughes and objectification of women. And I see all the anon trolls she gets. And the people trotting out pretty much all the answers from the Comics Anti-Feminist Bingo. And I've got to ask. Where are my trolls? My hate filled stalkers?

I've been linked a couple times. Haven't I earned my own trolls? Shouldn't I be able to get my own nemesis?

Why should people like [livejournal.com profile] morchades have all the fun?

Hey, I think Turner's art is bad too! And I believe I've made statements to the effect that Mark Millar is a hack writer. Hell, I'll mock the entire concept of Lawyerbear if it will help...

COOOOOOOOOOOMICS!

First off let us celebrate me finishing up my run of Preacher for the second time. And use this as another way of hoping that Garth Ennis stops writing super-hero comics (which he sucks at) and goes back to writing weird ass horror/western/war comics (which he doesn't suck at)...

But over to the new stuff, lets start with a new Knights of the Dinner Table. Where the Knights run back into lost NPC Randy the Halfling. Who's a little bitter about being literally thrown to the wolves. With a concurrent story of Weird Pete attempting to play a HackMaster MMORPG. Plus [profile] spoonyone's rant on the Conan movies. Though I don't think Red Sonja was a Howard character dude...

Next Powers wraps up the Queen Noir/Devil story. Also I like Walker's Space Hero Dude costume. Though the one on the cover doesn't match the interior art in color...

Then we've got a new Dork Tower, with Kayleigh and Sujata hanging out in a bar with Will Wheaton. Plus 3 action packed pages of Lethargic Lad. With a talking gorilla. Woo! Monkey!

And then its another issue of Astro City: The Dark Age. And the gang war is heating up, along with the melt-down of several of the street level heroes...

Then we finish up with ps238, where Cecil Holmes continues his "investigations" on behalf of the "Bureau of Alien Management". Plus Ron continues to have difficulty dealing with his parent's divorce. And the government's Dept. of Metahuman Affairs decides to take a more active role in the school. Yeah that will go well. BUY THIS BOOK! Or any of the three (soon to be four) available trades...

Oh and I got the Agents of ATLAS trade. So I'm looking forward to reading that...
