Another open letter to DC

Dear Sirs:

I have recently learned that, in addition to the movie novelization, John Shirley has written several Hellblazer novels using the canon John Constantine. And I must question why you do not have him working on an actual COMICS project involving the character. Perhaps a 4-issue mini-series about John's punk days in Mucous Membrane?

Or perhaps simply an original series for Vertigo...
