Late New Comics Day
Dec. 21st, 2006 12:52 amI actually didn't have much on my pull list this week. Though it looks like I should have gotten a couple of IDW's Transformers titles. Also I was expecting an Image Christmas/Holiday type issue. Thats what I get for believing the Diamond release list...
So off my list was the 3rd issue of Criminal where Leo and Greta hole up and we meet Roy L.T. the actual big man behind the heist. Also a review of the movie A Touch of Evil by Ande Parks...
Next up is the new Fables guest-starring a certain Holiday Fable who drops some heavy portents about future events. Also lots of family time...
I also managed to get a couple more of the back issues I needed for Mouse Guard (ooo scary crabs!) and the 2nd issue of Phonogram...
And since it was a light week I grabbed the 1st half of the Meltdown mini. The book deals with a fire-based super whose body and mind are giving out on him. He's literally "melting down" as the title says...
In addition to that I grabbed the first issue of Oni Press' Maintenance a book about a pair of janitor types who work in a mad science lab. I especially like the kitten in the snack machine gag...
