This week brings a plethera of new comics. Plus I decided to snap up last weeks Marvel Holiday Special. Though really they should just call it a Christmas book. There aren't any Chanukah, Kwanza or Yule stories in it. Seriously they should have included an Agatha Harkness Pagan Celebration. I can see Ms. Harkness doing a sky clad winter solstice celebration now...

*sporks brain*

Anyway its all worth it for a story where Fin Fang Foom beats up Hydra agents. Marvel should do a mini-Fin Fang Foom book. They could call it F.F. Foom; Monster fffor Hire. I'd totally buy it...

Then first off the pull list is the next issue of the Damned. Where, thanks to his buddy the Worm, Eddie finds the missing Lazlo. And Rourke and Big Al push things up a notch. Though given the nature of the book, I wouldn't count out there being a third player stirring the pot...

Over on DMZ Matty gets drawn further into things with the terrorist cell. And meets a girl...

Then we get a new Dork Tower. And its a Gamer Christmas. Plus some Dr. Blink and Lethargic Lad back-ups...

After that we go to FEAR Agent where Heath searches the battered and infested remains of the Earth for his family. Things don't go very happily for him..

A new Ex Machina brings the not so secret life story of Mayorial bodyguard Bradbury...

And then its a new Battle Pope where John Paul goes shopping! Santa and Jesus go crime fighting! Nerd Demon learns Brenda (his secret true love) slept with da Pope! A big stompy robot!

Next up on 100 Bullets things start to fall apart. Especially for Wiley. Which seems to be the first thing that ever catches Graves off guard...

And then we finish up with PS238 where Tyler's impromptu super-team goes up against the teleporting school yard bully Charles. Plus Zodon continues his nefariousness...

Much better than I was expecting really. Very Labyrinth feel to it, while still being unique. A lot of creature images I liked. The winged cats (both the little book eating ones and the bigger sphinx like one), the rock giants, the flying monkeys and the duck/hedgehog servant guy. Also of course reminds me of Gaiman's A Game of You story arc...
