New Comics Day

As always a week where I'm almost broke means I get a huge stack for my pull list. Plus I added 4 new titles that I'll have to pick up the back issues for on Friday...

Anyway first up we've got a new Battle Pope reprint. With Jesus' mom, Jesus vs. Santa and a merry holiday for all...

Next we've got another Transformers: Spotlight this time on Hot Rod. We get to see his hot-headedness break into a Decepticon super-max prison to rescue someone he failed once...

PvP reprints the story arc where Robbie wins the lottery and becomes a millionaire. Plus some more Christmas strips. Including the Lord Kringus ones and Jade in the Mrs. Claus suit. Ho ho ho indeed...

Over on 100 Bullets Wylie and his crew wait for the arrival of Lono's crew. Plus some more flashbacks to just prior to the Minutemen going underground...

Also coming out this week is Book two of Astro City: Dark Age where we get street level vigilantes like Street Angel, the Jade Dragons and Black Velvet. As well as a gang war that starts to involve supers. Still all told thru the perspective of brothers Royal and Charles...

And despite being a dumb-ass Kirkman delivers a second solid comic this month in Invincible. Invincible vs. cyborg-zombies. The Global Guardians dealing with a jail break. And a fun Capes back-up...

And lastly we get the next Knights of the Dinner Table. Which FINALLY gets to Phoenix. Theres some good strips and spoonyone's rant on Mazes & Monsters and some nice maps. But mostly there is MUCHO delayed write-up by Jolly of Grevans. Which only those of you who play or played HackMaster will care about. But I care dammit...
