In other news, water is wet

So its quarter to three. In the morning. And the phone starts ringing at work. And after answering it, I'm asked "Are you hiring?" Which, as of a couple days ago, we aren't. But its almost 3am. WHO THE FUCK CALLS ABOUT A JOB AT THREE IN THE FUCKING MORNING!?!

I work nights and often keep late hours when not working. And I still did job hunting during the day. People can be so gods-damned stupid...

New Comics Day

And to make up for the sadness of last week's haul, we get a nice fat pile of comics this week. First up is actually a comic from last month, Casanova a high octane super-spy comic. I vaguely recognize artist Gabriel Da, but I can't remember from what. Still this is a nice new comic, with a gonzo anything goes kind of attitude to it...

Next we've got a new Knights of the Dinner Table, the two main story lines involve the Knights and the Black Hands, but both are basically at the character intro stage. Still Gordo's "Jazz Hands" bit cracked me up. Plus the usual assortment of reviews, game articles and editorials...

The new Fables is a one-shot featuring Cindarella with guest art by Shawn McManus. In it Cindy works to hammer out a diplomatic treaty with the Cloud Kingdoms...

Then its a another Transformers: Infiltration which is really about one thing. Megatron being utterly bitchrod awesome and bad-ass...

100 Bullets has Augustus and Agent Graves moving their plans forward, while another Minuteman rejoins the fold...

And last is the new Squadron Supreme, where the Squadron continues its world tour of whooping ass for America. The issue again focuses heavily on Inertia...
