Jun. 11th, 2006 10:40 pmOverall I think this was a ppv worth my 30 bucks. Of course I only ever watch two (One Night Stand and Wrestlemania) so I don't have a lot to compare it to. But aside from the odd finish to the Mysterio/Sabu match I thought all the matches and shoots went well. Even the JBL "surprise" appearance, which just helped keep the Hammerstein crowd fired up...
But the best moments for me? Big Show, doing in 5 minutes, what Khali hasn't managed in a month or Mark Henry in 10 years. How to be the Dominating Monster. The crowd reactions to Angle (massive support) and Cena (utter loathing). And the "joke" match managed to warm up the crowd AND put over everyone involved. All with a minimum amount of time and effort...
Add in the premieres of Deadwood and Entourage and this was a kick-ass night of tv...
