New Comics Day

And this week we've got a decent haul. First up is the new 100 Bullets. Which...er...ok. The Trust works out some stuff in half the book and the other half follows around a pair of low-end crooks, the Rome brothers. I'm thinking this might be starting an actual "100 Bullets" story arc again. Haven't had one of those in a while...

And in the new PvP they finish up the PvP/Max Powers merger story details, run the "death threats on Brent" arc and plant the basis for the Francis-bot story line...

Also got the new Truth, Justin, and the American Way title by Kurtz and Aaron Williams. Its sort of a parody of Greatest American Hero and 80s style television. Fairly good so far. Its odd seeing a comic by Kurtz or Williams that neither does the art for, but the Ferrario guy they've got is nice. Very Euro-cartoonish look...

And finally got the next issue of Transformers: Beast Wars which has some nice fight scenes. Still too damn many characters, especially given how few of them I recognize at all...
