You know what the best part of not having insurance is? Trying to decide if something is nothing and will go away on its own, or if its a warning sign of something really bad...

'Cause if I go to the doctor and its nothing than I'm going to have any financial plans set back for MONTHS. But if its something, than its good that it was caught, but of course I'll be so far in debt again the only way out would be bancruptcy. Again. Which thanks to the caring gov't that lets me make these kinds of health decisions, will be EVEN HARDER TO GET. Got to protect those credit card companies ya know...

Its probably nothing. I just really hate not having any decent options...

Edit: Whatever it was it went away. Hopefully just some weird physical twinge from forgetting to take my metformin 2 days in a row...

Inspired by a recent post by userinfoewysiwyg. What is the WORST book you ever FINISHED?

This is a pretty close race for me. One that I forced myself to finish because I needed to finish SOMETHING to write a college book report on, the other one I had to read for a high school class...

But I'll allow that The Andromeda Strain, while horrifyingly dull isn't as dreadful as Madame Bovary. In fact the only thing I dislike more than the book was seeing the movie version for the same class. So wangsty. Never have I been happier to see a character die. But why did she do it so frelling slow?
