New Comics Day
Mar. 8th, 2006 05:01 pmA fairly big haul this week, with five titles coming in...
First up is a KoDT 113. Didn't I just get 112 like a week ago? I guess they're trying to both get caught up and keep ahead before con season. This issue is mostly about Squirrely again, with some more on the "real life" drawing from the Deck of Many Things with the Untouchable Trio. Its also got Spoony's rant on Bloodrayne as well as the usual assortment of reviews and editorials...
Next up is a new Powers where Walker deals with some consequences of his new job and Deena slides further into complete crazy. Poor Deena...
Then we move on to Invincible where Mark and his Dad do battle with a mess of Viltrumites. And the Capes back-up is solid as well. "For it now faces the threat of the CHRONODILE!" Heh, beautiful...
And over in Fables some puppet people meet their maker and get their wish granted. Huzzah for good things happening to "bad" guys! Of course wishes in the Empire have prices...
And lastly we've got a new issue of Transformers. The Decepticons are running around blowing stuff up, while Ratchet deals with the consequences of revealing the war to the human characters...
