New Comics Day
Sep. 21st, 2005 04:50 pmSo both my late DorkStorm titles came in this week, which is good. Plus my Amazon order of Top 10: The 49ers. Good book, good stuff on the original Precinct 10 cops and the founding of Neoppollis.
So like I said, got issue 2 of Dr.Blink finally. Fairly amusing stuff, mostly poking fun at just how many Robin's there have been. Also introduces a "super" version of Dr. Phil to serve as a nemesis for Dr. Blink...
Issue 2 of the new Top 10 series shows off some more of the city and adds the new precinct captain. The political commentary is a bit heavy handed. And the characterizations all seem a bit, well, off...
1st issue of the Supreme Power: Hyperion mini, introducing several more Squadron 'verse characters. Arcanna and Shape. Also a radioactive guy whose name I can't recall and what looks to be Hyperion's genius nemesis. Dr. Bedlam? I think that was his name...
PS238 starts up its first real multi-issue story arc, a time-travel story with Tyler, Zodon and the time-travel kid. But first we get to meet various "powered" versions of Tyler from alternate universes...
