Saturday HackMaster game
Mar. 26th, 2005 05:37 pmAnd so after the TOTAL destruction of the Fenix Fang Slayers in the last session, we begin anew. With a group that I at least, shall call We Hate Bunnies. Leading this motley band of chance met future heroes is Something Silverhammer warrior-priest of Clangeddin. As well there is a gnomish maid skilled in combat and illusion. Then Flutterbee, a pixie-faerie archer. And finally, and most importantly, there is the sharp of mind and nimble of foot Aardvarkian Chabbo "Chubs" Rufferto.
After finding residence at a dwarf run inn the group settled in for a meal. Only to be interupted by some yelling madman. Luckily Silverhammer quickly
subdued the ruffian and turned him over to the Watch. And the gnome managed to grab a map of some kind the criminal dropped in the struggle. And even luckier Chabbo snagged several extra helpings of chicken and ale while everyone was distracted.
Later the group took on the task of clearing out several problemsome nests of giant rats from the local sewers. While the others did some last minute shopping, Chubs quickly discovered the original source of the rat plague. Not totally important, but something that may come in useful later.
And then into the sewers. Where they travelled for several hours, finding one nest and disposing of several groups of rats, large rats and giant rats. But then with night upon them, the group headed back to the surface to rest for the night.
I'd just like to say one more thing. The groups rolls for today SUCKED! We were missing more than half the time. Against RATS! We had FIVE fumbles. Misty fumbled TWICE in a row!
