Scales of DOOOOOM

So I'm going thru my game books, planning to head over to Bookman's. And so I need schwag to trade in for different schwag. So far I've been able to pull the old GURPS 3rd Edition books I plan to replace. And right now I'm debating my collection of West End Star Wars.

'Cause I really love this system. And it reminds me of those pre-prequel days when Star Wars was one of the pillars of my Geekdom. Of 'course now I can't even get into the Zahn novels without thinking about the unholy mess that Lucas made of the franchise. And of my two gaming groups, one has a hard time getting into non-fantasy games and the other consists MOSTLY of people who prefer the d20 version for Star Wars...

So I'm thinking I'll compromise with myself. I'll keep the main book and the Galaxy Guides and trade in the book tie-in source books. Except the Zahn ones...

Nerdy got his booky wooks

So I have returned from Bookmans. Took in several DvDs I never watch, a mess of 3e GURPS books and a couple WE Star Wars source books I wasn't really that into.

Got "The Crow" on DvD to replace my VHS copy and the special edition "Hellboy" DvD. Also a shiny, looks like its never been used HackMaster PHB, so I can give Kyle one of my older beat up ones. And the Dungeons & Dragons Rules Cyclopedia. The "classic" D&D not the d20 one...

OH and some books. Wizards, a themed anthology from Isaac Asimov's Magical Worlds of Fantasy (the first one in that series actually), an Alan Dean Foster HumanThranx Commonwealth book, The Howling Stones, and a book by John Kessel, an oddball scifi guy, Good news from outer space.
