Well I did not render myself insensable with drink. I did however try my first Irish Carbomb. I think they should have served it in a bigger glass though as there was an excess of splash. Causing some wastage of alcohol, a most grevious thing.

So we (my Sat. HackMaster group) has finally begun working against the Cult of Existential Evil. After taking over the Keep in Tharp when the NPCs there got done in fighting a high end Necro Existentialist. Had a minor encounter with some bandits and Kyle obliterated their leaders. Normally his min/maxed Half-Ogre Samurai drives me nuts, but this was pretty cool. Like something out of a cartoon, where the samurai charges past and with a single lightning quick cut, chops the entire scene in half...Level 34 crit to the guys armpit. x3 damage. With a d12 weapon. From a character wearing a Ring of Hefty Damage. It was like 80 something points without a die roll.

Later we went to Nulb with Dave's new character. Since the group already had a pair of mages he decided to run a half-elf thief (blade). We get to the town and split up to gather info. He challenges a local to a dagger tossing contest and fumbles and hits the NPC. So he apologizes and tries to make up for it. And the contest starts again. So when Dave fakes going to retrieve his dagger (magic weapon that returns) the NPC (a local Existentialist and assassin) nails him in the back with a Dagger of Venom. Dave's thief ALMOST managed to juggle it, but still got nicked and the poison took him down...
