New Comics Day

Only two pulls this week.

First is the very late SuperPatriot: War on Terror #2 by Robert "I write EVERYTHING" Kirkman. See the 80 year old sex machine! See cyborg Nazis get revenge for petty grievances! Pointless fights in graveyards! Plus maybe this means God War #2 might actually come out at some point.

The other title this week is Knights of the Dinner Table #99. A couple nice strips full of wacky gamer goodness. Plus another my bud Noah's Batman rant. Oh and bunches of gaming related articles...

Constantine

Finished the Constantine novelization. And I could forgive a lot. Because they got John Shirley to write it. So I accepted all the changes from the comic. And how it felt like a Simon Green book in many places. And the varied bits of Hellblazer taken and twisted. Like making Midnite a basically good guy. Or making Chaz an apprentice mage to John. But then the unthinkable happens.

It has a happy ending.

A. Happy. Fucking. Ending.
