Previously I
mentioned how I was getting in a lot of gaming of late. So I'd thought I'd sum up the 6 games I'm currently involved in.
First up lets talk about HackMaster. I currently run a play-by-post game, play in another and play in two different table top ones...
The NetherDeep Raiders is the playbypost game I run on the Kenzer Forums. Somehow the group ended up deciding to ALL run drow when I first started, so it became a dark elf centered campaign. I decided to make the group a sort of "special forces" unit of a Drow Noble House's guard. This lets me avoid things like monthly book-keeping costs and training fees. Like all PbP games its slow-moving. But the 2nd adventure is looking to wrap up by the end of the month, allowing me to introduce 2 new players to replace ones who've dropped out and start the 3rd adventure.
The group currently consists of Azuel (Gladiator), Furn'tur (Fighter), Morley Dotes (Darkman Mage/Assassin), Colin (Thief) and Jasmine (Cleric of Thor). Axegrinder, the player who runs Jasmine has lots of real life stuff sucking up his time (job, wife preggers with twins, etc) so I'm moving his character to the background until his time is freed up. Luckily I've got Chuck joining with a Zealot and Spoony brining in a Human Acrobat.
I also play in a HackMaster PbP, but its kind of stalled out right now. Right at the start of our 2nd fight. Which we could've avoided if I hadn't charged in screaming. ;) What can I say, Henreich Von Jaggermont (Dwarf Gladiator) is dumb, ugly and mean...
The next group is my Saturday game. I've
ranted about this game in the past, mostly about
Kyle . Plus I
lost one of my favorite characters last month. But despite all that I'm basically still enjoying the game. Right now I'm running
LeJean a dark elf double specialist Necromancer.
The last HM game I'm in is on Sundays, this one run by friend
Noah . I'm playing a nice Human Soldier for this one. Who so far is avoiding associating with Kyle's Halfing Fighter (who rides a bloody sabre-toothed tiger) and Battle-mage friend. Considering this game is set after the events in Noah's 2e GreyHawk game (the one where Kyle accidently blew up half the city and killed several of the Circle of 8 by messing with an artifact) this one is very intresting.
This is longer than I thought, so more on the non-HackMaster front later...
