Yay for store credit
Nov. 1st, 2004 11:18 amSo yesterday I make the drive down to Bookman's. Those of you who are in or have lived in Arizona hopefully are in the know about this chain. Bookman's is a gigantic used book store, with 4 AZ locations. They have tons of books, movies, cds, video games, etc...
So I took down a couple boxes of books, gaming, vhs tapes and whatnot I no longer wanted. And the store took about 3/4 of it and gave me ONE HUNDRED AND THREE beautifal A trade dollars for it. A trade is for the good stuff (DvDs, CDs, Gaming and Video Games).
Grabbed 3 paperbacks I've read but didn't own. "Helm" by Steven Gould, "Eyes of the Dragon" by King and "Zodiac" by Neil Stephenson.
Then I got a best of CD by Barenaked Ladies. It has "Old Apartment" and "Million Dollars" on it, which makes it all good.
And then loaded up on DvDs. Complete Season 2 of Angel, "Count of Monte Cristo", "Donnie Darko", "SLC Punk" and "The Man Who Wasn't There". Now to just try and figure out how to rehook up all the entertainment center electronics so I can USE the DvD player...
