So I've decided that if I ever get a chance to run HackMaster again, I'm going to do a series of Hacked modules.

Starting with U1: The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh (now to be called The Deadly Deception at Ditmarsh).  Then U2: Danger at Dunwater (Emergancy at Ecruwater).  And then of course since I've never had U3, moving on from that to X1: The Isle of Dread aka The Island of Dreadfullness.  I've done some work on both U1 and X1 in the past, but I'm totally revamping that.  Especially for X1, which is looking to be freaking huge.

Also since I never had U3: The Final Enemy (I think that was the title) I can ditch the good aligned lizard man minister and his attempts to build a coallition to fight the sahuagin.  Meaning players won't have to be nudged towards NOT killing the lizardmen.  Pretty close to the way I used the module as the start for my old 2e Civil War/Lost Prince campaign.

So I'm thinking I may try to get a group together to play on Sat. or Sunday nights.  Basically a late evening, 'till everyone is exhausted kinda game.  I know I can count on my friend Brendan who's been begging me to get something going at a time he isn't working.  Now just to line up at least 2, preferably more players...

In other news, my manager called earlier around the start of my shift.

She wanted to check on two things.

1. If the 2nd shift had done the sack breakfasts for the police cadets, and if they hadn't had time, if they'd told me. (Unlike yesterday, they had.)

2. If I wanted to pick up some full time hours in Nov/Dec, as the other Night Auditor uses his vacation time to cut down to 2 days a week. To paraphrase my response:

FUCKING HELL YES!

7 weeks of 40 hours. Not only does this mean I can, I don't know, buy people Christmans gifts, but maybe I can take care of some stuff for my car or upgrading the computer that I've been putting off. Plus 2 months of not having my family bother me about what I'm doing to find more work. Actually 4 months, since I can't really look for another job, until I finish this temporary boost in hours.

Can I get a hell yeah?

Hunh, the update page is all different.  Intresting...

Anyhow, only two titles this week.  First off we've got Everknights. Decent issue, mostly dealing with monkeys and elections.  Not too surprisingly, that leftist pinko commie TonyD is STILL upset over 2000.  Move on Tony, move on...

The issue also has a cool two page spread at the end by Manny Vega...

The other title I got this week is PS238.  A beautifal issue about a 1920s super hero and the importance of having the Time Travel kid on your team when having to do a group history paper.

I also splurged and got the box office poison collection. 30 bucks is a lot, but its a fat book that contains the ENTIRE series.  Which is good.  I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Just finished watching the premiere.

Wow.

This looks sooooo sweet. And being on ABC, I think it has a chance to build a hard core following. Like the creators other show...
