I just want to say the staff/wire report person for USA today's Lifeline section (Entertainment & Health basically) is a fucking idiot...

Brief little bit about Alan Alda doing a stint on The West Wing...And they mention how its his first major tv series commitment since M*A*S*H...

Except of course for the role he played on ER for several episodes...It was only a couple years ago, and I know ER hasn't been good in a long ass while, but still...

So FOX is going to bring the Family Guy back next year. Fucking Why?

Ok, I know the money reason why. DVD sales were huge and it does big numbers on the Cartoon Network...

BUT ITS NOT FUNNY! Its just not. And people are making a big deal of how FOX should have stood by it before. FOX BROUGHT THE LAME ASS PIECE OF TRASH BACK TWICE!!

Good shows like Keen Eddie and Wonderfalls and FUCKING FIREFLY get canned before even putting out a full season. And this giant pile of horse shit WILL NOT DIE!

All the shows I've liked that FOX has shit-canned and this is the one that gets revived OVER AND FUCKING OVER AGAIN! Seth McFarlane has a pact with Satan. Its the only explanation...

Not a huge haul this week...

First off we've got two Savage Dragon tie-ins, both written by Robert Kirkman of Invincible.  We've got a new Super-Patriot mini, this one called SuperPatriot: War on Terror.  Book picks up right after recent events in Savage Dragon where Johnny's kids got killed taking down the Vicious Circle.  I love how peoples lives keep moving forward in the Larsenverse even when they're not being shown.  The book has several appearances by past SP mini characters, including of course Hitler's Mutant Brain...

Man what a great villian...

The other book is called Savage Dragon: God War.  The basic concept seems to be that a passenger jet smashes into the cloaked GodTown (home of various Gods, Godlings and Godley descendents) causing it to crash into Denver.  And GodTown is home to some Larsenverse heavyweights; Thor, Herakles, Powerhouse, Zeek  So this should be an action intense mini.

Next we got the finale to 30 Days of Night: Return to Barrow...All I can say is I have no fucking clue whats going on here, but thats ok...Sometimes horror works best when the reader/viewer is clueless...

And then last up is the new issue of Transformers: Generation One.  The only problem with this issue is that it leaves you kind of feeling like you missed an issue.  But then that seems to be normal for this 2nd volume.  Still I'm happy to see the return of the Insecticons and the fact that the DreamWave folks have to decided to make them scary as fuck...
