The job would have paid a bit more than my current one, but at some point in the next 2 years I'd have to relocate to a new office about 50 miles further away. As I don't own a car (nor do I want to), I wasn't particularly thrilled with that bit.
And the bottom line is that my current job is paying quite well, so I don't really *NEED* the extra money. So between that and the aforementioned issue, I got no problem being passed over. I just would like the common courtesy for someone to call and say "Thanks, but you're not quite what we're looking for." No one in business does that anymore.
