Health stuff

Had my first doctor's appointment today. The closest I've come to seeing a doctor (not counting the hospital stay) was a physical I took before starting work at Wingate. Other than that I don't think I've seen a physician since I was a kid...

Doc thought my blood sugar was still too high, so added another drug for me to take, Ad-something. Also told me to cut down on salts and alcohol to get my blood pressure down. And set me up to schedule a thyroid exam. Anyone know what that entails?

Since I don't know exactly which tests they're doing try here:

It's pretty accurate, and user friendly

Best of luck, they probably think your thyroid function is low, and want to make sure it's not another disease instead of hypothyroidism before medicating you.

best of luck, let us know how you fare!
