Damn the Man!

So they (that is the assisstant manager) put a memo reminding the staff they can't go online at work, unless its work related. So if I suddenly am around
less, its cause they yelled at me.

Than again, I work 3rd shift, I ignore most of the Everyone Memos. Heck, sometimes they tell me too ignore them...

But its either surf online or watch late-night basic cable. Or go back to reading 2-3 books a night...

2-3 books is only bad, because I've read everything I own...A lot...

So that means trying to find more books...

Or I could always try working on gaming stuff...

When they up my hours (hopefully this month and next) I'll probably try and stay off the computer...

2 to 3 books a night? Dang, I need a job like that!

Night shifts are fairly dull. Even when I worked at an airport hotel with fairly high traffic, I generally had about half the shift to myself to read...

Night shifts...eek! I went crazy last time I worked nights...of course having no computer access and dealing with idiots and paper cuts probably didn't help...:P

You could always go through a proxy or something :)

If they don't want you using the company's access, but the PC has a modem, you could also just sign up for a free trial of AOL ;)
