Checkup

Not much to say, it was mostly discussing some test results from last month. My thryoid numbers are slightly off, but I don't have any symptoms that would indicate hyperthyroidism. So the Doc wants me to keep an eye out in case any show up...

Plus I had avandia added back into my drug mix, since my overall low glucose count is still often around 130. About 10-20 points above where it should be. Oh and I'm supposed to schedule a sleep study appointment to test for apnea. Man, I don't want to have to deal with that. Breathing masks and whatever the hell else is involved...

Sleep studies are a hoot. I've done them several times. They glue little electrodes all over your head. When we were between tests, we'd wander around the hospital and freak people out.

C-PAP masks are not as bad as they seem, and they could save your life (if you have apnea), and often apnea is reversible with diet and a regular sleep routine.
