Surface

So of the four sci-fi/horror genre shows debuting this year (Supernatural, Threshold, Surface, Invasion) I've caught two and a little bit of the CBS one. All I can say is that Threshold didn't manage to keep my attention for more than a couple minutes, so I can't really judge it. Supernatural seemed ok, right up to the ending, when it was just daaaaaamn. As for the NBC offering, so far the acting seems pretty weak. I'm not sure what to think of the alien/monster/fish things. They seem pretty inconsistant in motivation and abilities...

*shrug*

I hated Supernatural. It seemed... dead.

I'm intrigued by Threshold - I like some of the actors a lot. And as I said in my journal, I really liked the CGI on the videotape.

Surface was so close to The Abyss, which I watched over the weekend, that I laughed out loud in places.

So far, Threshold is ahead in my book, but none of them strike me as great. It's definitely the most original of the three.
