I'm not really sure there was much of an actual story going on here. Just always cheerful teacher Poppy always being cheerful even when people are angry or mean or whatever. And you don't really get any understanding of why Poppy acts that way. Plus she is almost irritating enough that you want to sympathize with driving instructor Scott. A character just loaded-down with quirks and traits meant to make him un-likeable...
