Some of episodes do start getting a bit silly at times in the final season. And some of the characters got goofier post scripts then I would have liked. Still the finale has both Rays and the return of Leslie Neilsen which is all for the good...

Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince

A pretty good movie. Though the majority of the impact of the confrontation between Harry and Snape at the end is gone since much of the drama between the two earlier in the book is left out. The revelation of who the Half-Blood Prince also comes off as very flat. Much of what is cut for the movie version is the extensive world building from the books. I also think the one major added scene works strongly in upping the feeling of threat from the Death Eaters...
