Last month the evil Ami...no wait I'm the evil one. The sickeningly good Ami posted the 10 Characters of Doom meme. And being that work is really, really dull I will now participate. First RULES:

I'm gonna make a list of 10 characters, it is a secret list. If you want, comment to this post with a question like, "2 and 8 have a dance off, who wins?" and then I answer them in a seperate post and it is the most fun meme ever. And you can ask as many questions as you like.

Sunday Trade: Strangers in Paradise

Ok, lets try to explain the set-up for this story. Katchoo is a young artist. She loves her BFF Francine. And Francine kind of loves her back. Just not like that. Maybe. Sort of. And then Katchoo meets David. And so you get the basic triangle for this relationship. Of course it gets complicated when Katchoo's old employer tracks her down. Tangently because of 850 grand in stolen Mob money. But mostly because of some crazy control issues. Oh and family. Lots of convoluted family ties...

Honestly the series is the most fun you can have watching people with truly dysfunctional relationship issues try to make themselves functional...

Oh and I should add, I love these Pocketbook editions. Easily stackable, with spines that turn into a cast poster as you get more books. And decently priced at $18 rack...

Comet: FWOOOSH

Explanation: Comet McNaught was perhaps the most photogenic comet of our time. After making quite a show in the northern hemisphere in early January, the comet moved south and developed a long and unusual dust tail that dazzled southern hemisphere observers. In this image, Comet McNaught was captured one year ago above Chile. The bright comet dominates on the left while part of its magnificent tail spreads across the entire picture. From this vantage point in the Andes Mountains, one looks up toward Comet McNaught and a magnificent sky, across at a crescent moon, and down on clouds, atmospheric haze, and the city lights of Santiago. Comet McNaught has glided into the outer Solar System and is now only visible as a speck in a large telescope. The other spectacular comet of 2007, Comet Holmes, has also faded from easy view.
