No more stealing breakfast meats from work. The sausage patties I snagged Monday night had me waking up at 9am and rushing for the can. And the bacon tonight has left me feeling naseous. Ick.

Gov't job quest, probably part the first

So I'm off to take some kind of test thing. I guess like a civil servants exam maybe? Not sure. But the goal is a job as an interviewer/screener for AHCCS or however the acronym works. The health insurance for po' people I've got now...

If (and that should be When most likely) I get this (and it will take a while) it means a FULL TIME job at 11.30 an hour to start with all gov't lackey full bennies...

First off, what the fuck happened to my style layout? This isn't what I had setup. Seriously, what the fuck?

Anyway, the test went well, only missed 3 out of 50 questions, so a 94. And the minimum is like 80. So I've got an interview next Wednesday at 1. Which means missing another monthly safety/GSR meeting. I'm never gonna get that 50 dollar giveaway bonus thing before I leave.

And after some quick webcomics reading, it'll be off to dogsit for my grandparents. Where I'll have to deal with annoyance of a dial-up connection. On the plus side, they have a tv within view of the computer with a sat. hookup...

I know I've already got the boxed set, but...

SciFi is going to start airing "Firefly" on July 22nd. All the episodes. In the right fucking order. Now to just find a way to get them to pony up for NEW episodes...

New Comics Day

And we've got 3 titles this week.

First out of the gate is a new Powers. Where Deena does a bad, bad thing. Bad Deena! Bad! Also th issue is mostly pictures. Which while stylisticly nice, means its a real quick read.

Next is Ex Machina, where His Mayorness decides to show up for jury duty. And some new vigilante begins "protecting" the city. And worst of all, Mitchell's favorite comic book shop closes. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Last up we have #103 for Knights of the Dinner Table. Brian running Cattlepunk. Sweet. Brian showing signs of being really whack job crazy. Bad. Plus more Black Hands. And Spoony tears into the third Matrix movie. And another cool Zipse map. And so on...
