Early Morning Update

Well its freaking early for me...

1st up: Today's Ghastly Comic tells us what teen girls like. . Very MA though. I mean its Ghastly for Tod's sake...

2nd up: According to that evil, twisted miscreant of a too lucky for his own good [personal profile] flemco, the GFoD aka [personal profile] takhisis
is a giant comics nerd. One of us! One of us!

3rd down: Further perusing of Bill Hicks, namely his "Relentless" cd further confirms that he was the awesome.

4th up and away: Every day I get more and more tempted to leave EverCrack for WoW. But I will remain strong. I will not be swayed by its "No Zoning Lag", cuddly cows people, ease of trade skill improvement and low-penalty deaths. Must remain loyal. EQ has stuff too! Like frogloks. Yep remain faithful to my froggy shaman...

5th sideways: Adam Sandler does a surprisingly good cover of "Werewolves of London".

That is all. Return to you beds twistos...

Return of a meme from the past

Reyoinked from [profile] sexyexpy

Recommend to me:

1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album
4. a LiveJournal user not on my friends list
5. what I should have for dinner
6. a website
7. a quote

Then put this in your LiveJournal and I'll do the same for you.

Warning: Politics

I don't do a lot of political ranting normally. But this (off
my Oliver Willis feed) just struck a chord:

Soo.... he could roll back the insane tax evasion laws he's put in place for the Paris Hiltons, Bill Gates, and George W. Bushs of the world in order to actually pay for the things we need to keep America secure.

But not George.

He's going to screw the weakest among us to appease his masters.

The budget seeks savings from about 150 programs, including Amtrak, environmental protection, American Indian schools, farmers' subsidies and Medicaid, the federal-state health program for the poor and disabled.

There's an opportunity for a brave Democrat here. We need to propose a bill called the America At War Act of 2005, that reduces or eliminates the tax evasion laws now on the books for the mega-rich and the corporations that they own. Those funds would then be used to, you know, kill terrorists and protect the country we love.
