Late night insomnia ramble

Why does late night tv suck so much. Ok sure I could watch Masterpiece Theatre. But I don't wanna...

And yet too tired to think of something truly clever to write. Stupid brain with its mugginess...

On the plus side their were like EIGHT night auditor ads in the Sunday job alert. I mean I've got to be able to get like ONE of them right?

More stuff from my gaming past

2e was lousy with demons and devils. Not that they were easy to spot since they had lame-ass names like Baaetzu instead of Pit Fiend and stuff.

So for my old 2e campaign setting I dumped everything and combed the books, as well as creating my own nasties, and developed all new castes of infernal evil dudes. Also I dumped the Law vs. Chaos angle that TSR used. If you were evil and didn't follow a god you went to Hell. I hadn't decided what to do with non-evil faithless people...

Wizards

Watched Wizards tonight with my friends, since our HackMaster game fell thru. I still liked the movie, not as much as when I was a kid, but still. Several of my friends were less impressed. Then we started watching it again with Bashki's commentary on.

Dude was on the crack. And had a major league chip on his shoulder against Disney. And seemed to look down on animation at the same time he yammered on about his vast skills as a director of animated movies...

Kinda disapointing really, but not too shocking that he was a hack, considering the very bad Lord of the Rings 'toon he did...
