The Croods: This charming and funny movie about a "caveman" family in a hyper deadly world  deserved more attention than it got...

Kings of Summer: Not quite as good as the indy-darling hype would make it seem, but still quite good.  Nick Offerman is definitely a high point in it.  And the teenagers, even when showing how clever they are, remind you that teenagers are idiots and we were all lucky to survive that period...

Much Ado About Nothing (Whedon): I do love watching a well-crafted Shakespeare play even if I tend to get lost in the larger casts.  But all in all great work from Whedon and various of his actor pals...

"The Croods": Struck me a a Dreamworks movie doing Dreamworks things while the characters make the Dreamworks face. Was is better than any Dreamworks movie could be expected to be?

How To Train Your Dragon was *way* better than any Dreamworks movie had any right to be, given every other animated Dreamworks movie.

Was it good like How To Train Your Dragon, or was it Dreamworks like Megamind, Antz, Chicken Run, Spirit, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Over The Hedge, Bee Movie, Rise Of The Guardians, and every other Dreamworks animated movie?

(Are you familiar with The Dreamworks Face as a thing? Warning: Don't click that link if you don't have half an hour, at least.)

For me thats a wildly fluctuating list in terms of quality and entertainment. So not as good as HtTYD, but a solid B-level, where Bee Movie would be an F and Megamind and Chicken Run would be a B...

I kind of really hate The Dreamworks Face a lot.
