Bad Google. Bad!

How to turn off Google Buzz fully

ETA: Can we keep petty flame-fights out of the comments please?

Dude's smoking something.

I absolutely love the clean, clutter-free way I’m able to manage my eleventy-billion Gmail accounts

Clean and uncluttered? Since when is keeping all of my messages in a big fucking pile to be searched, instead of organized folders, clean and uncluttered?

Google Maps always get me where I need to go

Google Maps is becoming less accurate by the day (I regularly see directions that end 10-15 miles from where I need to be), oh and BTW, they deleted Saved Locations without telling anyone.

Right. Putting, say, all of my books in a big fucking pile in the middle of my living room is far better than being nicely organized by author or genre on the shelves, because the title and author's name are on the spines and covers. How exactly does labeling incoming email keep my inbox uncluttered?

Your second point is equally disingenuous. I didn't say there are better services (they all use the same data, and TeleAtlas is fucking worthless), I replied to the original blogger's contention that Google Maps is the apex and epitome of cool.

You want to like, love, and adore Google? Go right ahead, I'm not stopping you. That doesn't mean their services aren't severely flawed.
