Good news: Joe Abercrombie will have a new book out this summer. I look forward to being crushingly depressed by the end of this new series...

Bad news: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s Republic of Thieves has been pulled from pre-order status by Amazon and others. Meaning its now like GRRM's Dancing with Dragons at the "will be published at some point" stage. Annoying. Though checking Lynch's home page I see that he's actually planning a SEVEN book "Gentleman Bastards" series. Hrmmm...

Dammit! I'd been counting on that Lynch book coming out this spring. That's like the third delay.

He'd always had the series planned as seven books. That said, at this rate, I wouldn't count on seeing all seven.

Man, he hasn't updated his webpage in like 3 years. At least G.R.R.M. updates his blog all the time, and lies about the work getting done, tells us about the Jets.
